The North Texas Golf Outing is scheduled for October 7, 2010 in the Dallas Area. Golf will be played at the Indian Creek Golf Club on the north side of Dallas.

The Scholarship Golf outing helps fund scholarships that are given to the children of employees of TGA member companies. In 2010, the number of scholarships increased to five per year and are given to entering freshmen.

The golf is always a great opportunity to meet other folks in the industry and enjoy a day of camaraderie, while supporting a great cause. Your registration includes green fees, cart, range balls and a great barbeque dinner which will be provided by ATMOS Energy and will be prepared by ATMOS’ world-famous “Big Tex” Barbeque team.

The location of the Indian Creek golf club is: 1650 W. Frankford Rd., Carrollton, TX 75007.

A map to the location is located here.

An information packet and registration form and hole sponsorships can be found here.

Stand alone (no golf) hole sponsorships and event sponsorship donation forms can be found here

If you would like to have your name in front of the group by sponsoring door prizes, you can find that form here

Did You Know?

Because natural gas is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, mercaptan (a chemical that smells like sulfur) is added before distribution, to give it a distinct unpleasant odor (it smells like rotten eggs). This added smell serves as a safety device by allowing it to be detected in the atmosphere, in cases where leaks occur.
